When youre living in Childrens Hospital and tired of the options you go back to the neighborhood where your Dad grew up and find some amazing soul food. My jambalaya showed up blazing hot, which is always a delivery challenge and while my daughters waffles didnt survive the trip they were tasty and she devoured the fried chicken wings (her favorite). The Mac n Cheese and garlic smashed potatoes were a nice addition to her meal. The portions were more than enough. I easily received two days worth of jambalaya, which is a nice bonus. We cant wait to order again.

I placed an order, and in a few minutes I received a call. The restaurant was calling to let me know that they were out of 1 of the sides I wanted. I'm glad they elected to call me instead of just giving me something I didn't want. Delivery was on time. The food was really good. My only critique was that I wished the sides were bigger. I'm pretty sure that's a grubhub menu issue though. I have called the restaurant before and ordered directly from them, and received bigger sides. I hope these guys continue providing great meals and service.

Food was hot and ready for pick up, even close to closing time. The food did not taste like it was sitting around all day. The fried haddock is the bomb. I also loved the collard greens, smashed sweet potatoes, smashed garlic potatoes, and corn bread. The salt content is high, but I think that's what made everything taste extra good! I will defiantly be going back.

every time I'm home I have to order from Maxine's. I love their fried chicken plate with mac n cheese, and collard greens with a side of banana pudding. It's truly one of Roxbury's gems. They're friendly, on time (sometimes early delivery), and the food is always fresh and hot. It's worth every penny every time.

The wings were great , very well cooked and the mac and cheese was DELICIOUS! I didn't enjoy the sweet smashed potatoes but that's my fault I should have ordered the garlic smashed potatoes...anyway this place is great

If you're looking for some good old fashioned soul food to be delivered, look no further. Food was here in under an hour. It was hot, fresh, and delicious!

The food was delicious! The delivery was only a little late. I will be ordering from them again.
